Purpose and function of the set

The presented parking sensor set is designed as a component of the maneuvering assistance system in the Audi Q2 GA, covering both the front and rear zones of the vehicle. This provides the driver with continuous information about the distance from obstacles during parallel and perpendicular parking, which significantly reduces the risk of damage to bumpers and body components. The component belongs to the Electronic control modules and controllers group, meaning it works with the vehicle's onboard electrical system and diagnostic systems. Using an original Audi solution ensures proper communication with the data bus and correct operation of the warning functions in the cockpit.

Construction, placement, and body integration

The set includes sensors intended for installation in the front and rear bumpers, in accordance with the factory mounting points provided for the Audi Q2 GA. The placement of the elements is optimized for coverage of critical zones around the vehicle, ensuring a uniform obstacle detection field. A significant advantage is the color matching in Lava Blue Metallic – W5Q. The sensors are prepared for operation in this specific paint variant, ensuring they maintain a consistent appearance with the bumper surface after installation. This solution is particularly beneficial when replacing damaged components or retrofitting the car with a parking system, where maintaining factory aesthetics is a priority.

Practical application and benefits of installation

Installing the parking sensor set in the Audi Q2 GA translates into a clear improvement in daily driving comfort, especially in urban conditions and tight parking spaces. The system assists the driver during maneuvers by:

• facilitating precise approaching of obstacles at the front and rear,
• reducing the risk of minor collisions at low speeds,
• improving spatial awareness in limited visibility conditions. For users planning to upgrade the vehicle with additional features, such a set is also an attractive base for expanding equipment configuration based on original VAG group components.

Product characteristics and condition

The offered item comes from the Audi line and complies with the factory quality standards for this brand. As a part from the Electronic control modules and controllers category, it has been designed to work with the original electrical installation and vehicle diagnostic systems, which facilitates seamless integration with the existing electronic architecture. The product is offered in used condition, which allows for an economical restoration of full parking system functionality or the implementation of an upgrade while maintaining a favorable cost-to-quality ratio. Before installation, it is recommended to perform standard installation verification and system configuration in accordance with service procedures for the Audi Q2 GA.
