Purpose and function in the vehicle

The presented wiring harness is responsible for powering and electrically connecting the glove box light in the Audi A4 B6. The used connector enables a secure connection to the light and the rest of the installation, which translates into proper lighting operation when opening and closing the glove box. This component is particularly useful for:

• repairing broken or melted wiring in the glove box area,
• restoring factory wiring after previous modifications,
• comprehensive interior restoration while maintaining original electrical solutions.

Construction and technical features of the harness

The harness belongs to the Wires, harnesses, and connectors group, meaning it has been designed as an electrical system element with a specific length, wire cross-section, and connector type. The construction includes:

• a section of wiring adapted for operation within the dashboard space,
• a dedicated connector for connecting the glove box light,
• factory wire terminations on the vehicle installation side. As a result, installation is limited to properly routing the harness and plugging it into the appropriate installation points, without the need to create custom connections.

Practical application and benefits of installation

Using the original Audi A4 B6 glove box light wiring harness allows for maintaining the consistency of the electrical system and reduces the risk of failures resulting from unprofessional repairs. Key advantages include:

• stable power supply to the glove box light without flickering or interruptions,
• maintaining the factory wire routing, which facilitates future service,
• no need for soldering or using makeshift connectors,
• better aesthetics and order in the wiring behind the dashboard. For users rebuilding the vehicle's interior or restoring full lighting functionality, such a component is a convenient and technically safe solution.

Product characteristics and condition

The offered wiring harness comes from the Audi brand, which ensures compliance with factory manufacturing and fitment standards. The product is classified as used, making it an economical alternative to new parts while maintaining the original construction and compatibility with the vehicle's installation. It is a sensible choice for repairs where both functionality and cost control are important.
