Purpose and function in the vehicle

The presented sun visor has been designed specifically for the Porsche 718 Cayman 982C model and is mounted on the right side of the interior. Its purpose is to reduce glare for the driver and passenger, improve visibility of the road and dashboard instruments, and increase comfort when driving in sunny conditions. The black color scheme of the visor is characteristic of the Porsche sports interior and ensures visual consistency with the dashboard, headliner, and other upholstery elements.

Construction and fitment

The visor belongs to the Sun visors category, meaning it has been constructed for stable mounting in the headliner and smooth operation within the typical range of motion. The design features:

• precise fitment to the right side of the 718 Cayman 982C interior,
• maintenance of proper rigidity during repeated folding and unfolding,
• an ergonomic shape ensuring effective coverage of the field of vision from the side and top window. Thanks to its factory origin, the visor works with the original mounting points, which facilitates installation and minimizes the risk of improper alignment with the headliner.

Benefits of using an original visor

Using an original, used sun visor in the Porsche 718 Cayman 982C allows you to maintain the factory character of the interior and avoid problems typical of aftermarket replacements. Key advantages include:

• Full mounting compatibility – the visor fits the factory brackets and mechanisms on the right side of the vehicle.
• Consistent interior aesthetics – the black finish integrates well with the original Porsche cockpit color scheme.
• Functional sun protection – improved visual comfort for the driver and passenger, especially when driving in bright light. The used nature of the item allows for an economical replacement of a damaged or worn visor while maintaining the high quality of workmanship typical of the Porsche brand.

Use in service and interior restoration

The right black sun visor for the Porsche 718 Cayman 982C is suitable for both standard repairs following a collision or interior damage, as well as for comprehensive cabin restoration. Replacing a worn visor with an original component allows you to restore the proper operation of the folding mechanism and the aesthetic appearance of the headliner without interfering with the vehicle's structure. If you are planning a comprehensive repair or upgrade of the headliner area and the upper part of the interior in your Porsche and need other items from the same group, such as covers, flaps, or additional panels, check the available parts in the Porsche Sun visors category.

Additional technical and purchasing information

The item comes from the group of original Porsche components and is classified as used, which allows you to combine high quality of workmanship with a reasonable repair cost. The visor is intended for installation on the right side of the vehicle, so it is worth verifying compatibility with the specific equipment version of your 718 Cayman 982C before purchasing.
