Purpose and function in the vehicle

The presented set is a component from the Car sockets and cigarette lighters group, responsible for the safe power supply of 12V devices and the operation of the ash tray in the center console area. The design is stylistically and mechanically matched to the Audi interior, ensuring that the factory look and ergonomics are preserved after installation. The layout of the button and the 12V socket allows for convenient connection of accessories (e.g., chargers, power adapters) without interfering with the vehicle's electrical system. The integrated ash tray helps keep the cabin tidy, and the entire unit is designed to work with the original center panel.

Construction and fitment for Audi

The component was developed by the manufacturer with a specific model in mind, which translates into:

• consistent design with other center console elements,
• dedicated mounts for factory mounting points,
• adaptation to the Audi factory wiring harness. As a result, the installation process is straightforward, without the need for modifications to the wiring or the use of additional adapters. Compatibility with the original backlighting and button operation logic is also maintained, if provided in the given equipment configuration.

Benefits of using an original used component

Using an original, used component allows you to maintain the visual and functional consistency of the interior, which is important both for daily comfort and for the future resale of the vehicle. Factory fitment reduces the risk of installation problems, looseness, or improper operation of the 12V socket. Integration with the electrical system and ergonomics

The 12V socket in this module is intended to work with the factory electrical system, which promotes stable power supply for accessories and limits the risk of overloads resulting from improper connection. This solution is particularly important in vehicles equipped with extensive onboard electronics, where correct circuit loading affects system reliability. From a user perspective, the driver and passengers gain easy access to power and the ash tray in one logically designed module. Maintaining the original layout of buttons and sockets promotes intuitive operation without the need to get used to non-factory solutions.

Expanding the 12V power zone in Audi
