Purpose and fitment

The presented rear armrest is designed for the Audi A6 C6 model, specifically for placement in the rear passenger cabin. The construction, based on the factory design, allows for the preservation of the original interior lines and ensures a proper fit with the rear bench seat and other upholstery elements. As a result, the assembly looks cohesive, without the "universal accessory" effect.

Construction, material, and functionality

The armrest combines several functional features, important for the comfort of rear-seat passengers:

• cover made of black fabric matched to the character of the Audi interior,
• integrated storage compartment for small items, documents, or travel accessories,
• design adapted for use in both folded and unfolded positions,
• solution compliant with the factory geometry of the rear bench seat. This combination provides comfortable arm support while driving and helps organize small items that usually clutter the cabin. Using fabric instead of plastic in the contact area improves perceived comfort, especially during longer trips.

Characteristics of the used part

The armrest comes from disassembly, meaning it is a used part that retains the features of original Audi equipment. Such components are frequently chosen for interior repairs and restorations because they allow for maintaining a consistent cabin look without the need to use replacements with different textures or shades. A used element of this class is a reasonable compromise between cost and maintaining the factory character of the vehicle.

Application in repairs and interior upgrades

The rear armrest with a fabric cover is suitable both for replacing a damaged part and for refreshing the vehicle's interior. It can be used, for example, when:

• the original armrest is mechanically damaged or excessively worn,
• the rear cabin upholstery requires aesthetic unification,
• you want to improve the comfort of rear-seat passengers by providing them with stable support and a storage compartment. Thanks to the preservation of the original mounting design, the armrest is a practical service solution that does not require interference with the seat structure or upholstery modifications.

Support with selection and additional information

Before purchasing, it is worth verifying the compatibility of the part with the specific equipment version of your car, especially regarding the rear bench configuration and the applied finish. In case of doubt, comparing the shape and mounting method with the currently installed armrest is helpful. If you are planning a comprehensive repair or upgrade of the central interior zone in your Audi and need other parts from the same group, such as additional storage compartments, tunnel elements, or console housings, check the available parts in the Audi center and roof consoles category.
